Mozilla is following Google Chrome steps if it comes to release newer versions of the browser. Just a month ago Mozilla released Firefox 8 and Mozilla already pushed out Firefox 9 final for users.
The official link and update for Firefox 9 final will be available tomorrow but the final build of Firefox 9 is already available on Mozilla FTP servers. We have downloaded it and works like a charm. Firefox 9 improves the JavaScript load time for complex pages. This will allow Firefox’s Javascript engine to process Javascript code much more quickly than before. Firefox 9 also expands support for HTML5 and CSS standards.
Cosmetically, Firefox 9 is the same as the previous version of the browser itself. At least, we couldn’t find anything new during the time we spent skimming over the browser’s features.
