Well you might have to hold on your money as according to new rumors the new iPad 3 is expected to launch in next 3-4 month. If the speculations are correct so we may see iPad 3 launch in March or April 2012.

According to sources in Apple’s supply chain, manufacturers have already begun shipping parts and components for the iPad 3, which is expected to launch in just 3–4 months. Also manufactures have reduced the shipment of current iPad 2 parts which indicates that iPad 3 is on it’s way.

Digitimes reports:

The next generation iPads are expected to be available in the next 3-4 months as makers in the supply chain have started delivering parts and components for the new tablets to OEM contractors while reducing those prepared for iPad 2, according to sources in the supply chain.

OEM production of iPad 2 will remain high at 14-15 million units in the fourth quarter of 2011 but decline to 4-5 million units in the first quarter of 2012, paving the way for the launch of the new iPads, the sources noted.

From rumor mill, The next generation iPad is expected to have a Retina display, a faster A6 processor- possible Quad Core, be slightly thicker than the current model.
