There is already so many tools available to Jailbreak iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1. And here comes another one from a Unix hacker known as Ac1dSn0w. Ac1sn0w will tethered Jailbreak your iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, 3G and iPad 1 on iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 tethered Only.

For now Ac1dsn0w is only available for Mac OS X in beta form. N0w it can only tethered Jailbreak iOS 5/5.0.1 with other options like Pwned DFU mode, exit recovery mode and tethered boot.

But the hackers confirmed that the future updates of Ac1dsn0w will Jailbreak remote devices.

The current version of Ac1dSn0w is in an early development stage. In the future it will also be able to jailbreak remote devices. This means that you just need to install a server program on any OS (Linux, BSD, Windows) and Ac1dSn0w will jailbreak it on a client machine anywhere in the world.

Guide: How To Jailbreak iOS 5/5.0.1 on iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G/3G or iPad using Ac1dSn0w:

Step 1: Download Ac1dSn0w [Google Docs Link] and open it.

Step 2: Now connect your iOS device to Mac and turn it off.

Step 3: Now click on show assistant and put your device in DFU mode by following the on screen instructions.

Step 4: Once your device is in DFU mode, simply click on Jailbreak from Ac1dSn0w and it will Jailbreak your device.

Step 5: Now your device will restart and you will put your device again in DFU mode and will do a tethered Boot by clicking “tethered Boot”, when ever your device restarts you will repeat step 5 to boot tethered your device.
