We have just heard that thousands of iOS devices are getting bricked after updating to iOS 4.3.3 using iTunes. The issues lies within the iTunes activation servers, which bricked the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. There is no official word on the issue by Apple, but many users are reporting on Apple discussion thread about bricked iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on latest update using iTunes.
If you have just updated your iOS device and got a same messae as shows in above screenshot, you must follow the below instructions, One poster on the forums has posted a solution for this:
After holding down the on/off button and home button at the same time the phone turned off. I then held down the home button while plugging into Itunes. The phone prompted me to reset the phone which I did. Luckily I had backed up prior to trying to update. Now I have the 4.3.3 update and the phone is working. Whew!
