iOS 4.3.2 was released coupld of hours ago and now Musclenerd (iPhone Dev Team member and hacker) confirmed that iOS 4.3.2 can be Jailbreak with RedSn0w but it will be tethered Jailbreak only because @i0n1c untethered jailbreak exploit is not working right now on iOS 4.3.2. RedSn0w 0.9.6 RC12 can Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 tethered only.
Those of you who rely on a carrier unlock must stay away from Redsn0w and stock iOS 4.3.2 firmware. Below guide is more suitable for those who don’t rely on UltraSn0w for unlocking iPhone.
How To: Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 using RedSn0w 0.9.6 RC12:
- An iPhone 4, 3GS or iPod Touch 4G, 3G or iPad
- iTunes 10.2.1 installed on your computer.
- DownloadiOS 4.3.1 on your desktop
- Download iOS 4.3.2
- Download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc12 for Windows & Mac
Step1: Restore iOS 4.3.2 on your iOS device and keep it connected to your computer via USB.
*You can skip this step if you’re already running iOS 4.3.2.
Step2: Open RedSn0w 0.9.6 RC12 and point it to the official iOS 4.3.1 firmware file.
Step3: Now check Cydia and click next.
Step4: Please plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button.
Step6: One in DFU mode your iPhone will restart, Now, just wait while Redsn0w gets installed and jailbreaks your device. Once finished your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will restart automatically.
Now your iOS device is in tethered Jailbroken mode, on every reboot of your iDevice you will using “Just boot tethered right now” option in Redsn0w.
