PwnageTool 4.3 released which will untethered jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad (1st-gen), iPod touch 4G, 3G, Apple TV, and at the same time will help retain (preserve) the old baseband for iPhone 4 and 3GS users so that they can unlock using the existing version of Ultrasn0w.

If you are on official carrier and don’t need Ultrasn0w, Use RedSn0w for windows and Mac Both HERE which is easy to use.

Ultrasn0w is broken on iOS 4.3.1 now, iPhone Dev Team will release updated version of Ultrasn0w soon.

Pre-requisites

• An iPhone 4, 3GS or iPod Touch 4G, 3G or iPad
• iTunes 10.2.1 installed on your computer.
• DownloadiOS 4.3.1 on your desktop
• Download Pwnage tool 4.3

Step 1: Open Pwnage Tool 4.3 and select Expert mode and select your device and click blue arrow button.

Step 2: Now click “Browse for IPSW” and point to iOS 4.3.1.

Step 3: Now Click “Build” to creat custom firmware for iOS 4.3.1.

Step 4: Pwnage Tool will now create custom firmware  iOS 4.3.1 which will be jailbroken.

Step 5: Once your ipsw has been built you will be asked to connect your iPhone to the computer. Once it detects your device PwnageTool will guide your through the steps to putting your iPhone into DFU mode.

• Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds
• Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds
• You device should now be in DFU mode

Step 6: Once your device in DFU mode Pwnage tool will prompt you to launch iTunes, click alt/option key and click restore button. now browse for your custom Firmware.

Now sit back and relax as iTunes will do the rest for you and will install the custom firmware on your device fully jailbroken. This can also take 10 minutes to complete so don’t do anything silly at this stage.
