Apple new iPad 2 delayed until June? [Report]

While many rumors suggesting launch of Apple iPad 2 in coming weeks, another report from Bloomberg says that next generation iPad delayed until June.

Bloomberg Reports:

Apple Inc.’s shipments of a new version of its iPad tablet computer may be delayed to June from April because of “production bottlenecks” at manufacturer Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Yuanta Securities Co. said.

The delay arose after Cupertino, California-based Apple made design changes before the Lunar New Year, according to a report by Vincent Chen and Alison Chen, analysts at Yuanta. Jill Tan, an Apple spokeswoman in Hong Kong, declined to comment on the report.

The predictions about iPad 2 delayed came from Yuanta Securities, we have never heard any predictions from them but if this reports came true so it will be a set back to Apple as Android Honeycomb tablets are coming in large numbers. The delay of iPad 2 will definitely affects iPad 2 sales number.

All previous reports have pointed to a Q1 launch, possibly in April for the iPad 2.

Update: Reuters has declined the rumor:

A report that the next version of Apple Inc’s iPad tablet computer will be delayed is not true, according to a source familiar with the matter.
