We’ve already discussed the features of XMBC Center on iPad, iPhone 4 and Apple Tv 2G. Now here we’ll learn how to Install XMBC Cneter into the following devices. You just have to follow our simple guide and you’ll successfully install XMBC Center into your iPhone 4 , iPad or Apple Tv 2G. Check out the guides after the break.
Guide How to Install XMBC Center into your iPhone 4 and iPad:
NOTE: Before You start this Guide Make sure your iPhone 4 or iPad is already Jailbroken.
Step 1: First of all you have to Load “Cydia” in your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Now go to Manage – > Sources -> Edit -> Add http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/ios/ as new Cydia source.
Step 3: Now Select “TeamXBMC repo” and tap “XBMC-iOS ” to install.
Step 4: It’s Completed, Now just cydia and start XBMC from your home menu.
Guide How to Install XMBC Center on Apple Tv 2G:
NOTE: Before You start this Guide Make sure your Apple Tv 2G is Jailbroken and is on Version 4.1 or 4.2.1.
- load terminal and type
- ssh root@your_ATV2_IP_ address
- root@’s password: ”enter your password here, it should be “alpine” if you havent changed it”
- echo “deb http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/atv2 ./” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/xbmc.list
- apt-get update
- apt-get install org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2
After XBMC is succesfully installed, frontrow (ATV2 home screen) will restart and you will see XBMC in it.
