Samsung has confirmed this news that It has sold 10 million Samsung Galaxy S smartphone worldwide since it’s launch 7 months ago in June. And it’s being the first Android Smartphone crossing 10 million figure. Samsung sold 7 million units at the end of October and hit 9.3 millions just before Christmas.
Samsung Hub reports that Samsung was selling an average of 1.4 million devices per month, equating to 40,000 units per day. Device sales were strongest in North America with over 4 million units sold, 2.5 million in Europe and over 2 million in South Korea. As for the region-wise sales, Samsung sold 2m in South Korea, 4m in North America and 2.5m in Europe.
Though this number is less than Apple iPhone but comparing to others Samsung is on a winning streak, now they have recently released the Nexus S and also they might release Galaxy S at CES 2011. So 2011 will also be a big year for Samsung in term of Smartphones.
