Ultrasn0w 1.2 for Baseband 5.14.02 / 5.15 / 6.15 and lower is released now. All iPhone 3GS and 3G users who are on iOS 4.2.1 or iOS 4.1 can now unlock their iPhone. For all those who don’t know UltraSn0w works with Jailbroken iPhone which enables you to use any carrier sim on your iPhone. iPhone 4 users are still out of luck but iPhone Dev Team are working hard to unlock iPhone 4 too. Before proceeding further with this guide please read the full story about this UltraSn0w 1.2 here. If you are on baseband 5.15 or 5.14.02 so you must update your baseband to 06.15 to be able to unlock. Follow our guide here on how to update to 6.15 on iPhone 3GS and 3G with Pwnage tool 4.1.3. or you can use RedSn0w 09..6B5 to jailbreak and unlock iOS 4.2.1 here

Here is a step by step guide on how to Unlock iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G on iOS 4.2.1 / 4.1:

Step1: Your iPhone should be jailbroken on iOS 4.2.1 or iOS 4.1 to Unlock your iPhone 3GS / 3G on BaseBand 06.15

Step2: Go to cydia than manage tab as shown below:

Step3: Go to sources and than click edit and than add:

Step4: write http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com and click “Add source”

Step5: Once the repository has been added successfully, Search for “ultrasn0w” in Cydia and install this application.

Step6: Click install. and restart your iPhone!!!! voila!!! your iPhone is now Unlock and can be used any sim on baseband 06.15

iPhone 4 users are still out of luck but iPhone Dev Team has confirmed that they will start working on the Unlock of iPhone 4 Baseband because they have found some good crashes for baseband of iPhone 4. so Stay tuned.
