According to intomobile, they have got a firm news from trusted source who told them that Gingerbread Android 2.3/ 3.0 will release on 11 November. There are also rumor of Nexus Two running Gingerbread Android (2.3/ 3.0) which will be build by Samsung and will release on 8th November at New york at Samsung conference. But one point should also be note here is that Samsung has denied rumors about Nexus two and said they are not building any Nexus Two.

A trusted source has tipped us to the potential launch date for Gingerbread, the 2.3 version of Android. According to our source, the SDK for this upcoming revision will debut on November 11th.

As you can see in above picture, its taken outside Google HQ two weeks ago and its reflects that the Gingerbread Android 2.3/ 3.0 release is imminent. But all we can say about it is that its a rumor till now and 11th november is not far now so we will wait few days more all would be cleared about Gingerbread Android 2.3/ 3.0 release.

update: As 11th November have passed and there is no sign of Gingerbread. So we will have to wait more for the next major release of Android. we will update you when it,l release for public.
