Chorinic DEV team has confirmed that SHAtter based Greenpois0n Jailbreak will release on this sunday (10/10/2010) at 10:10 AM GMT. According to Chronic dev team the Greenpois0n is ready and to be release on this sunday. so stay tuned!

For all those who don’t know, Greenpois0n is based on low level bootrom exploit which apple can’t patch in its next firmware update. And all iOS devices will be pwn for life. Apple will have to release a revised version of the iOS device to patch that hole.

Greenpois0n is likely to be a untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.1.

Greenpois0n will only jailbreak with 4th Generation iOS devices including  iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G and iPad.  Other iOS devices are not confirmed yet.

Apple tv 2G might also be supported.
